The International Journal of Information Science and Application (IJISA) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to the publication of original research, review, and tutorial contributions in information science, computing, information and knowledge engineering, and intelligent systems. The journal provides a forum for theoretical, methodological, and applied research addressing the analysis, development, modelling, and application of information-based systems and computational methods. The journal embraces the interdisciplinary nature of information sciences, welcoming contributions from areas including computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, physics, cognitive science, and related disciplines. It seeks to provide balanced coverage of theoretical foundations and practical applications across the broad field of information sciences.

Aim and Scope
The journal aims to disseminate rigorous research covering the theoretical foundations, computational methods, technological development, and practical applications of information sciences and intelligent systems. The scope includes, but is not limited to:

The journal welcomes theoretical studies, methodological developments, computational research, experimental investigations, system-oriented studies, and application-focused contributions that advance the understanding or practical use of information sciences and intelligent systems. The journal considers original research articles, review articles, tutorial contributions, and other scholarly works presenting substantive theoretical, methodological, or applied contributions to the field.

Types of Contribution:
Research Articles: Original research contributions presenting significant findings, methods, models, algorithms, systems, applications or theoretical developments in computer science, information technology and related areas.
Short Communications: Concise reports presenting significant preliminary findings, new techniques, computational approaches, experimental results, applications or other developments of immediate interest to the field.
Review Articles: Comprehensive and critical reviews of significant developments, methods, technologies, research trends and emerging areas within the scope of the journal.

Publication Frequency: Two issues per year.
