International Journal of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (IJGEB) is an International Journal which aims to publish all the latest and outstanding research articles, reviews and letters in all areas of major importance to Techniques of Genetic Engineering and applied research. The journal also accepts submissions on all aspects of Genetic Engineering, Gene manipulations, microbiology starting from fundamental levels to advanced aspects in bacteriology, mycology and virology. Manuscripts which address applications genetic engineering and Biotechnology on microorganisms in large scale industrial and environmental processes as well as those covering the indicators of global climate changes shall be included. Research on other topics, such as production of valuable microbial products via fermentation processes such as production of antibiotics, microbial enzymes, bio-fuels or pharmaceuticals in the context of bio-discovery and bio-business relating to sustainable global development shall also be included. Each issue contains a series of timely, in-depth written articles by leaders in the field of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, covering a wide range of the integration of multidimensional challenges of research including integration issues of the Genetic Research.
Submission of Paper: Manuscripts are invited from academicians, research students, and scientists for publication consideration. Papers are accepted for editorial consideration through email irpeditor@gmail.com with the understanding that they have not been published, submitted or accepted for publication elsewhere. Please mention journal title in your email.
Types of paper:
Regular articles: These should describe new and carefully confirmed findings, and experimental procedures should be given in sufficient detail for others to verify the work. The length of a full paper should be the minimum required to describe and interpret the work clearly.
Short Communications: A Short Communication is suitable for recording the results of complete small investigations or giving details of new models or hypotheses, innovative methods, techniques or apparatus. The style of main sections need not conform to that of full-length papers.
Reviews: Submissions of reviews and perspectives covering topics of current interest are welcome and encouraged. Reviews manuscripts are also peer-reviewed.
Frequency: Two issues per year.
