The International Journal of Fluids Engineering is a scholarly journal devoted to the publication of original research on the mechanics and engineering applications of fluids. The journal provides a forum for theoretical, computational, and experimental investigations addressing fundamental and applied problems in fluid mechanics and fluid engineering.

The journal covers research concerned with the behaviour, analysis, modelling, simulation, and application of fluid systems across a broad range of scientific and engineering disciplines. Contributions addressing fundamental aspects of fluid mechanics, as well as interdisciplinary applications in areas such as aeronautics, astrophysics, physiology, chemical and mechanical engineering, hydraulics, meteorology, oceanography, geology, acoustics, and combustion, are within the scope of the journal.

The journal welcomes original research that advances understanding of fluid phenomena, develops analytical or computational approaches, reports experimental investigations, or demonstrates the application of fluid-mechanical principles to engineering and related scientific problems.

Aim and Scope: The International Journal of Fluids Engineering aims to provide a scholarly forum for the dissemination of original research and technical contributions in fluid mechanics and fluids engineering. The journal welcomes theoretical, computational, and experimental studies addressing fundamental fluid phenomena, engineering systems, modelling and simulation, and interdisciplinary applications of fluid-mechanical principles.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:

Fluid dynamics and transport phenomena
Theoretical and analytical approaches to fluid flow
Computational fluid dynamics and numerical modelling
Experimental investigations of fluid systems
Fluid flow, stability, turbulence, and transition

Fluid machinery and engineering applications
Aeronautical and aerospace fluid mechanics

The journal also considers research that integrates fluid mechanics with other scientific and engineering disciplines, particularly where such work contributes to the analysis, modelling, design, or understanding of fluid-related systems and phenomena.

Types of Contributions
Research Articles: Research Articles should present original and substantive findings based on theoretical, computational, analytical, methodological, or experimental investigations. Manuscripts should provide sufficient description of the research methodology, analytical procedures, computational methods, experimental procedures, and results to permit appropriate scholarly evaluation and, where applicable, facilitate reproducibility.

Short Communications: Short Communications are intended for concise reports of significant and well-defined research findings. They may present results from focused investigations, new models or hypotheses, innovative methods or techniques, or other developments of clear relevance to industrial engineering and technology. Their presentation may be more concise than that of a full Research Article while maintaining appropriate methodological and scholarly standards.

Review Articles: The journal welcomes Review Articles that provide systematic, critical, and well-structured examinations of significant developments in areas within the journal's scope. Reviews should synthesize relevant scholarly literature, identify established findings and areas of continuing investigation, and provide an informed assessment of the development of the subject. Review Articles are subject to the journal's peer-review process.
