Research Ethics and Integrity

IJMS is committed to maintaining high
standards of research integrity and responsible scholarly communication. Authors
are expected to conduct and report their research honestly, transparently, and
in accordance with applicable ethical, professional, and institutional
standards.
Where research involves human participants,
animals, personal or confidential information, hazardous materials, or other
areas requiring ethical oversight, authors are responsible for obtaining the
appropriate institutional or regulatory approval and for providing the relevant
ethical statements in the manuscript.
The journal does not tolerate fabrication,
falsification, plagiarism, duplicate or redundant publication, inappropriate
authorship, undisclosed conflicts of interest, or other forms of research or
publication misconduct.
Where concerns regarding the integrity or
ethical conduct of submitted or published research arise, IJMS may request
clarification, supporting documentation, or information from relevant parties
and may undertake an appropriate editorial investigation. Where warranted, the
journal may take corrective action in accordance with its publication-ethics
procedures.
